About Us
Founded in 1979, in Houston, Texas, Power Supply Components, Inc. had humble beginnings in the sale of power transmission equipment and parts. Rapid growth and large stocking agreements made it possible to better serve our increasing customer base. Expansion would also bring the opportunity to increase the portfolio of product offerings.
O-rings were added to our product line which gave us increased depth and breadth, allowing us to pursue a larger portion of our markets. Additional inventory and an increased clientele, brought about the need for a larger facility, and Power Supply Components would undergo the first of what would be three moves. Changing times and seeing the possibilities of stronger growth in the sealing market, Power Supply Components would eventually discontinue the power transmission product lines, to focus on becoming a powerhouse for o-ring distribution. With primary efforts being concentrated in Texas, the Mid-South, Southwest, and Gulf Coast regions, Power Supply Components has also achieved a nationwide sales reach.
Power Supply Components is the first company in the region to stock metric o-rings. We are the sole stocking entity for custom cut to size coil vee packing, and one of few to vulcanize o-rings in a wide range of materials and sizes. With the explosion of requests from customers, hydraulic seals and seal kits were added to the products offered, as well as made to order items. The introduction of a customer specific and tailored kitting program was also implemented to meet growing demands.
In our 40+ years of being in business, we have become fluent with import and export procedures to better serve the needs of our distribution network in the oil and gas, industrial supply, hydraulic, petro-chemical, food service, and numerous other industries. As a proud Texas based, Houston owned company, Power Supply Components currently warehouses over 40,000 SKU’s in an approximately 30,000 square foot facility. With 24 employees and 100’s of years in combined industry experience, we place an emphasis on service.
